The Froebel Ireland Journal of Child-Centred Educationinvites submission internationally, especially from new, unpublished authorsThe Froebel College of Education is launching a journal with a date of first publication expected in April 2002. The journal’s mission is to contribute to the wider debate in Irish education from early childhood to senior primary level. Papers are invited from anyone with an interest in early childhood education or primary education. The topics covered include every aspect of education, from mainstream to special needs. Papers that present research findings are invited, as are theoretical and philosophical papers. The journal aims to become a vehicle of discussion and dissemination of good practice and a forum in which issues can be debated and investigated. Papers from previously unpublished authors are especially welcome. Book ReviewsThe journal also accepts reviews of recent publications about primary, early childhood, and mainstream (inclusive) special education. Book reviews should be 8-10 double-spaced pages. The journal will consider publishing essay reviews, in which the author analyses one or more books with a similar focus and discusses the implications for future practice or research. These essays should range from 15-20 pages. For further information and publication guidelines, contact:Dr. David J. Carey, General Editor |
